FRANKLAND RIVER OLIVE COMPANY

In 1999, over 100,000 olive trees were planted amid the loamy soils, cool climate and pristine environment of Frankland River. The Frankland River Region was selected because of its quality soils, water availability and the cool climate, which shares many similarities with the premium olive growing region of Tuscany. The Company experienced growth in 2005 and now manages additional groves in the Moore River Region and produces award winning table olives in York, Western Australia.

TWO REGIONS, GREATER FLEXIBILITY
In 2005, Frankland River Olive Company assumed management of the Parmelia and Whickham Groves. Both are located in the Moore River Region, an area specialising in high density olive production. Because of the differing climate and harvesting times, Frankland River Olive Company is able to capitalize on greater economies of scale, sharing resources as well as specialized expertise.

In addition to this, extra virgin olive oil produced in the cool climate region of Frankland River has different character (and differing olive varieties) to the warmer climate olive oils produced in Gingin. This regional and varietal diversity will ensure wider market acceptance of the extra virgin olive oil presented by Frankland River Olive Company internationally

PROCESSING
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
The olive fruit is processed onsite, immediately after careful harvesting using cold pressed mechanical means to extract the fruit juice from the olive. No refining processes are used in the extraction. The end product is an extra virgin olive oil of excellent quality and taste.

Sales and Marketing
Frankland River Olive Company exports bulk extra virgin olive oil to Italy and Spain and packaged Jingilli extra virgin olive oil to China, Japan and Zimbabwe.
Jingilli extra virgin olive oil is also available throughout Australia in Coles and Woolworths Supermarkets, as well as independents, gourmet and food service.
